Founder Robbie Dellow started Forbidden Beauty just 3 years ago and the company’s products are already receiving rave reviews from repeat customers who have been excited to be experiencing very positive results. He chose to use refined hempseed oil, as, whilst he fully understood the importance of including it, he also wanted to ensure the resultant products still retained the pearly-white cream colour so desired by his female customer base. From numerous laboratory testing it was discovered that adding unrefined hempseed oil gave the product a yellow tinge, whilst using a quality refined hempseed oil achieved the desired nacreous outcome.
“Throughout the entire journey of creating our skincare products we have listened to, and acted on, what our numerous and diverse female focus have said they desired in a moisturiser.” Dellow told our interviewer. “Sure this may take a lot longer than developing something focussed on your target audience, but we feel it really gets to the core of creating something special.”
